The obverse: in the centre – the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it – the semicircular inscription “БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim – on top: “ДВА РУБЛЯ” (TWO RUBLES), below: to the left – indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre – the year of issue “2012 г.” (2012), to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
- The reverse: to the right on the mirror field of the disc – the half-length portrait of Isakova M.G. in the sports uniform of the USSR National Team, to the left – the little figure of a skating lady on the ice track and the inscription along the rim: “МАРИЯ ИСАКОВА” (MARIA ISAKOVA).
- The reverse: to the right on the mirror field of the disc – the half-length portrait of Skoblikova L.P. in the sports uniform of the USSR National Team, to the left – the little figure of a skating lady on the ice track and the inscription along the rim: “ЛИДИЯ СКОБЛИКОВА” (LIDIYA SKOBLIKOVA).
